Richard Harms
RICHARD HARMS, previously of counsel with Havkins, Rosenfeld Ritzert & Varriale, LLP and a former Partner in the law firm of Harms & Harrigan, LLP and Gisonni & Harms, LLP, and an associate at Orenstein & Brown and Alio & Ronan, received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from C.W. Post College of Long Island University. Richard graduated Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law, Cum Laude and in the top 8% of his class.
Mr. Harm’s Practice Areas include Personal Injury Litigation, including Labor Law, Negligence, Automobile, and Premises Liability; Insurance Coverage Litigation; Wills, Trusts, Probate Administration and Litigation; Estate Planning and Administration; Guardianship; Real Estate Transactions; and Business and Contractual Transactions.
Mr. Harms has a resume of successful jury verdicts, arbitration decisions, appellate victories and coverage claims on behalf of his clients. He is admitted to practice law in New York State; U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Richard was also an Arbitrator handling cases in Third District Court, Huntington Station.
