Robert M. Conti
ROBERT M. CONTI, a graduate of the John Jay Criminal Justice Program, Hofstra University School of Business and St. John’s University School of Law, Robert has over thirty years of combined experience in law enforcement, investigations and civil litigation. Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998, and the Federal District courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Robert devotes his knowledge, skills and abilities to a practice concentrating on the difficult and complex New York State Labor Law protections for workers allegedly injured in building construction, demolition or repair work.
Along with the complexities and fact intensiveness of the underlying multi-party injured workers’ claims, Robert counsels and represents real estate owners and their contractors in the often interrelated contractual and insurance procurement duties among the parties and their insurers.
Robert has also used his experience to provide pro bono counsel to individuals in various matters ranging from consumer credit transactions to village justice court and county district court cases. He is from a family of veterans and in addition to his interest and passion for law, he participates in events such as the Marine Corps Marathon to raise awareness for the Marine Corps Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project.
He maintains a home in the historic Hamlet of Oyster Bay where he’s active in preserving the beaches and wildlife.
