Michelle Callner
MICHELLE CALLNER is an experienced litigation and transactional attorney who represents corporations, local businesses, employers, producers, production companies, property owners, developers, contractors, engineers, sureties, independent contractors, sales agents, labor unions, and other individual and corporate clientele in all aspects of litigation, mediation, and arbitration from inception through settlement, resolution or verdict, and in negotiations to resolve disputes before a formal claim is filed or lawsuit is commenced.
Ms. Callner handles cases involving employment and labor laws, negligence, personal injury, construction law, commercial disputes, construction, architect and general contractor agreements, mechanic liens, contract disputes, labor disputes, prevailing wages, ERISA-covered trust funds and entertainment, including claims arising under Title VII, New York State and City Human Rights Laws, ADA, ADEA, ERISA and the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, and New York Labor Laws.
Ms. Callner is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York. Ms. Callner has served on the New York State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section and the New York City Bar Associations Committees in the Labor and Employment and Construction Law Committees. Ms. Callner earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors from the University of Georgia and her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
