Nishi Rajan

NISHI RAJAN is a licensed attorney in New York (admitted 2003) with over 17 years of professional experience in both the private and non-profit sectors of law. She graduated from St. John’s University of Law (2002) specializing in International Law and Trusts & Estates and received her B.A. from Binghamton University (1999) majoring in English Literature and minoring in Political Science and Economics. 

Ms. Rajan joined the firm in 2019 after working for both private and in-house insurance defense firms where she served as Senior Counsel, Supervisor of the Motions Department and as firm Project Coordinator for in-house operations, quality control & oversight. 

Ms. Rajan is also the Founder and President of Leading Light Foundation, a human rights advocacy organization and policy journal reporting on human rights abuses world-wide. In her free time, Ms. Rajan is also a professional singer-songwriter, actor and director (Off-Broadway, Television and Film) and volunteers pro bono for children’s, women’s and minority rights organizations.
